Students are recognized each month for their dedication to academics and for pursuing their online education with perseverance at Wolf Creek.
Reeve has always been one of Wolf Creek's most hard-working students. This year she is looking forward to graduation. By the second week of term 1, she was already passing two of her classes. Becki Olseen, Kyla's Learning Manager comments, "She really enjoyed her Sociology class, which has been fun for me as the teacher of that class." Kyla is also taking steps to prepare for her post-secondary education and will be pursuing a photography degree and is interested in using her love of photography to help others. Kyla has a very bright future!
Medek is new to Wolf Creek. He is an articulate young man who has a consistent work ethic and a positive attitude. "He has taken the initiative to discuss his academic goals with me and to pursue post-secondary options in the spring and following graduation," says Damon's Learning Manager, Hanna Coleman. Damon also has shown interest in participating in Wolf Creek activities that are related to his personal interests, especially music.
Wolf Creek is a tuition-free online charter school based in Chisago City, and is serving full-time students in grades 9-12 across the state. Wolf Creek also serves part-time students using supplemental services and the online learning law. Wolf Creek is accredited by NCA, CITA, and NCAA.
