Friday, September 17 is Walk to School Day! Walk or ride your bike to North Branch Area Schools on Walk to School Day. The event begins at 6:45 a.m. at stations along Grand Ave., Elm St., Maple St., 377th St. and 378th St. The City of North Branch, North Branch Area Public Schools officials Chisago County Public Health and Fairview Lakes Hospital staff as well as many civic organizations will staff stations until school starts and hand out stickers and other items to students along the way. Safety Pup and Thor may also be found along the route!

This event is part of the federally funded Safe Routes to Schools initiative to promote healthy living in a safe environment.
