Author Pete Hautman visited Chisago Lakes High School where he spoke to students in Bridget Budig's and Sara Jackson's English classes about how he gets his ideas. He also read from a couple of his books and answered student questions. Hautman is the author of several books for young adults including Godless, the 2004 National Book Award winner. His visit to the High School was in conjunction with his visit to the Chisago Lakes Area Library later that day.
This was sponsored by East Central Regional Library and funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
