David Moyer, 16, and Logan Selby, 15, of Wyoming Boy Scout Troop #142, have achieved the highest rank in Boy Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award. Only two percent of boys who start Boy Scouts accomplish this achievement. Within Northern Star Council it is as high as four percent. In order to achieve the Eagle Scout rank, they must complete at least 21 merit badges and a service project for a community, church or other non-profit organization. Moyer earned 37 merit badges; his favorite the Rifle merit badge. His Eagle Scout project was a handicap accessible ramp for Kabetogama United Methodist Church.

Selby earned 29 merit badges; his favorite was the Small Boat Sailing merit badge. His project was a shed for the Wildlife Science Center near Forest Lake. Moyer and Selby both plan on continuing with Boy Scouts at least until they are 18. They are also members of the Order of the Arrow.

Mike Brinkman will be leading the ceremony at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wyoming, May 1. Congratulations, all your hard work paid off!
