Marlowe was a veteran and served as a Captain with the Marines in Korea. He was born, raised and lived his entire life in Chisago City where he worked as a dentist for 33 years. In 2008, he was honored as Grand Marshal of the annual Ki-Chi-Saga Days parade. Marlowe met his beautiful wife, Lois, a native of Robbinsdale, when they were students at Gustavas Adolphus College. They celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary this past August. Marlowe was devoted to God, his church, his loving wife, and the MN Vikings (despite their record). He is loved and will be deeply missed.
