North Branch - Chisago high schoolers ship robot to regional competition

The team worked feverishly last week to get the robot components complete and ready to ship because build season ended February 22. The team will not see the robot again unit March 31 when the 10,000 Lakes Regional begins at Williams Arena. Team members have been diligently working on the robotic arm, the minibot and its deployment system. The team finally succeeded in getting the minibot to climb a 10 foot pole. President's Day (with no school) the team to put in a 12 hour day on final tasks. Liz Ries and her website team completed the website and entered it in the FIRST Website Competition. Mentor Ken Cummings (NB) and Andrew Lebens (NB) work on the deployment mechanism for the minibot.

Team members work on the electronics for the arm: Sam Todd (CL), Andy Lawrence (NB), Logan Lange (CL), Mentor Scott Frischmon (NB), Kneeling: Araya Gamble (CL) and Tomy Cummings (NB).
