Michael A. Sedlund died Wednesday, Dec. 29 at his home, at the age of 30.

Michael was born July 8, 1980 at St. Croix Falls to Ronald and Jamie Sedlund. Michael has been a resident of Karcher Foster Services in Taylors Falls since he suffered a traumatic brain injury after an accident in July of 2001. The family wishes to thank David "Butch" Karcher and his staff for the years of love and support they provided for Michael, for without that, Michael would not have been with us this long.

Michael was a beloved son and brother, and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by grandparents Myrtle and James Morse, and aunt Jan Flatum. He is survived by his mother Jamie Sedlund, father Ronald Sedlund, grandparents Donna Sandborn and Ellis Sedlund; brothers Martin (Melissa) and Daniel; sister Kari (Tom) Anderson; nieces Lillian Rose Anderson, Madeline Pennings, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 4 at Lakes Free Church in Lindstrom. There will be a private family burial. Memorials are suggested to Karcher Foster Services Inc., 6551 Main St. North Branch MN 55056. Condolences may be left at www.grandstrandfh.com.
