Wanda arrived in this world February 19, 1948, the daughter of Leonard and Maudine (Roberts) Lauseng. She was the oldest daughter of seven children. She graduated from Pine City High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to DeWayne Gunderson at the Assembly of God Church in Pine City on December 17, 1966. Together, the couple worked, farming and raising their four children. Wanda enjoyed painting, sewing, gardening and baking. She also served as secretary/treasurer for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund, MN for many years. Once her children were in school, she found her true calling as an interior designer. She and DeWayne bought a paint and wallpaper store in White Bear Lake, MN.

On January 4, 2011, at age 62, Wanda passed away suddenly at her home. Her pathway to heaven was prepared by the passing of her maternal grandparents, Edward and Mae Roberts; fraternal grandparents, William and Grace Lauseng; father, Leonard Lauseng; sister, Penny Auers; father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Esther Gunderson.

She will be loved and missed by those she left behind. Husband, DeWayne; mother, Maudine Stamp (Ken); children, Tawnia (Jeff) Mitchell, Tristana Gunderson, Dyon Gunderson, and Tabetha (Darrin) Forcier; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Rosie (Don) Blazek; brothers, LeRoy (Dorene) Lauseng, William "Bill" Lauseng, Wendell (Joyce) Lauseng, Cameron (Deborah) Lauseng; brother and sister-in-law, Lowell and Mary Gunderson; brother-in-law, Larry (Wendy) Auers; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were January 8, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Almelund, Officiating was Reverend Brian Bergin. Internment at Almelund Cemetery. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
