The Chisago Lakes High School DECA (Association of Marketing Students) Chapter had its most successful District 4 Competitive Events Conference of all time.

Congratulations to the following 13 students who qualified for the DECA State Conference:

Lauren Althaus (senior), Claire Bakken (junior), Kelsey Braski (senior), Brianna Feddick (senior), Leah Foster (junior), Amy Gruntner (senior), Claire Habel (senior), Morgan Johnson (senior), Marisa Peterson (junior), Lindsay Peulen (junior), Nicole Schmidt (senior), Alana Schoen (junior), Haley Swenson (senior)

By finishing in the top 12 of their events, students are in the DECA State Competitive Events Conference in March. At the state conference, winners from all six Minnesota districts compete for the opportunity to move on to the National Conference. This year, Chisago Lakes had three first place finishes, four second place finishes, and two third place finishes in addition to several students finishing between fourth and twelfth in their events.
