To celebrate "I Love to Read" month, Ms. Branham and Mrs. Meissner's classes invited their parents in to participate in a "Book Share." The parents brought in their favorite childhood book to share with their child, and then they created a pop-up book with their child. A special thanks goes out to Chisago Lakes Food Service for the yummy cookies and Forest Lake McDonalds for the great punch.

I Love to Read Month at Primary School included a visit from Brian Wennen, a parent who races at Cedar Lake Speedway. He spoke about the connections between reading and racing. He brought in part of his race car and race suit, etc. Cedar Lake Speedway donated a family four pack of tickets to one luck winner who Got Caught Reading!

General Mills donated tons of t-shirts, toy race cars, hats, posters and a Cheerios race car jacket for a school daily drawings as well. Arby's also donated Kids Meal certificates for free orders.
