Koran, Gerald A., age 71 of Taylors Falls, passed away March 20, 2011.

Jerry was born September 12, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to parents Anthony and Elaine (Dunn) Koran. He loved to dance and he never wore shorts. He grew up in St. Paul, was a hard worker, farming and raising cows. He loved hunting, fishing and camping and always had a project to do putting people to work.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brother Ronald and grandson Dominic. He is survived by wife Kristine; children Anthony (Anne), Brian (Paula) and Elizabeth Koran; 12 grandchildren Sarah D., Alyssa, Sarah P., Anna, Jessica, Rose, Emily, Jordon, Michael, MacKenzee, Kristopher, and Alexie; siblings Darlene (Al) Polsfuss, Linda (Kenny) Miller, Don (Linda) Koran, and Gayle Spannbauer and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom & one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Almelund Cemetery.
