The North Branch girls tennis team may have struggled on the court for the most part of 2011, but they still were one of the top academic teams in the state and were able to grab a few spots on the North Suburban Conference Honorable Mention list.

Sisters Autumn and Gabby Ruddy were both awarded with All-North Suburban Honorable Mention accolades, and so was Kaymen Ebnet.

Autumn Ruddy, Ebnet and Greta Lindberg all also earned Academic All-Conference in the NSC and Lindberg earned Academic All-State for her performance in the class while she balanced time on the court.

As a team, the girls again earned the gold standard for Academic All-State. The North Branch girls tennis squad has earned the gold status every year since they switched to the classification three years ago.
