Whitney Tinjum, senior at Chisago Lakes High School, was selected to the 2012 Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association (GBCA) All-Star Team.  She will be playing April 20th and 21st at Macalester College with other selected athletes across the state of Minnesota.  She is scheduled to play in the class AAA game at 6:00 pm on Friday, as class AAA takes on class A.

The winner will advance to a game on Sat. at 3:30 and the third place game will play at 1:30.  A banquet will be held Sat. morning to honor the All-Star participants and acknowledge the Ms. Basketball finalist.

Whitney was nominated for Ms. Basketballthis past season.
