NB/CL readies for Rebound Rumble

The North Branch Chisago Lakes FIRST Robotics Team 3038 continues work on the robot for the game "Rebound Rumble."  The task this year is to build a robot that will shoot and retrieve basketballs, play defense, and balance on a bridge with another robot. January 7, the team started designing and building robot under contest rules.  Team 3038 has also worked with the new rookie team from Mora High School in the areas of programming and electrical.  

The deadline to complete the robot is Tuesday, February 21.  To view a video of the challenge, go to YouTube and search "Rebound Rumble."  Follow the progress of FIRST Team 3038 on facebook or at the website www.icerob otics.org. Team 3038 is financed through a grant from St. Jude Medical Foundation, fundraisers and donations.  All mentors are volunteers.
