On Thursday, Feb. 2, Sunrise River School kindergarten students, enrolled in the North Branch Area Public Schools K Everyday fee-based program, attended Harold and the Purple Crayon at the Children's Theatre in the Twin Cities. This activity was made possible in part by grant funds from the East Central Regional Development Commission and the East Central Arts Council as appropriated by the Minnesota State
Legislature, and submitted by Community Education Director Jeanne Leland and district grant writer Patrick Tepoorten. The kindergarten students will put on a performance based on the experience at Many Flags of North Branch on Friday, Feb. 10, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Sunrise River School.
