Robert G. Rohner, age 91 of Lindstrom, passed away  February 23, 2012.

Bob was born on December 21, 1920 in Rush City, Minnesota to parents Gustav and Clara Rohner. He graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1939, enlisted in the Army and served his country for four years as a Sergeant. He  graduated from the University of Minnesota and taught agriculture and driver's education in Lindstrom for 38 years. Bob was also a charter member of the Chisago Lakes Lions Club. 

He is survived by sister Ruth Merfeld; nieces Nancy (Guillermo) De Paz and Jane (Dave) Santos; nephew Jeff Merfeld and many other friends and former students.

Funeral Services 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom.  Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Memorials are  preferred to the Chisago Lakes Lions Club, P.O. Box 71, Lindstrom, Minnesota 55045.  Condolences may be left online at www.grand strandfh.com.
