As a result of the State of Minnesota redistricting the City of North Branch was required to create new precinct boundaries. The City of North Branch now has three precincts, each with its own polling place. As a result of redistricting the City is now in two House of Representative Districts. As a result of the County redistricting the City is now in three County Commissioner Districts. All registered voters should have received a postcard with your precinct and polling place information. You can also go to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website, www.mnvotes.org, to check your voter registration status, look up polling place information and get a list of candidates. The new precinct boundaries are: • Precinct A – Includes all property west of I-35 within the City of North Branch. - Polling Place – Abundant Life Church, 4359 392nd Street, North Branch • Precinct B – Includes all property east of I-35 and north of Highway 95 within the City of North Branch - Polling Place – United Methodist Church, 6500 Main Street, North Branch • Precinct C – Includes all property east of I-35 and south of Highway 95 within the City of North Branch • Polling Place – Chisago County Senior Center, 38790 6th Avenue, North Branch Candidate districts for the new precincts are as follows: • Precinct A Precinct B Precinct C Congressional 8, 8, 8 Minnesota Senate 32, 32, 32 Minnesota House of Representatives 32A, 32B, 32B Chisago County Commissioner 5, 2, 1 Election questions can be directed to Bridgitte Konrad, City of North Branch 651-674-8113, Chisago County Auditor 651-213-8500 or Minnesota Secretary of State 651-215-1440.
