Bonnie Louise Burton Phillips, age 66, died at her home in Lindstrom, Minnesota, on June 6, 2012, as a result of lung cancer. Bonnie was thankful for every day and lived each one to the fullest spending as much time as possible doing all the things she loved and enjoying her family! Bonnie was born in Oakland, California, on March 21, 1946 to Claudine and William Burton. She spent her last years in Lindstrom, many of which she worked as a realtor for Remax helping people realize their dream of home ownership. She is survived by her husband of 15 years Bob Phillips; mother Claudine; daughters Lisa (Joe) Bosman, Tara (Brad) Bennett; son Chris (Debbie) Lilly; sisters, Mary Lee (Mike) Rocco and Connie (Tom) Johnson.

Bonnie’s role of “mother” also included sons, Sheldon (Kelly) Phillips, Robbie (Patty) Phillips, and Kevin (Cathy) Parks and daughter, Paula (Dave) Kolbeck; granddaughters, Kelsey, Ally, Erin, Katie Lou, Katie Lee, Emma, Natalie, Elise and Allison; grandsons, Holden, Zachary, Jacob, Sam, Owen and Jonah. She is preceded in death by her father, William Burton; and sister, Carol Forciea Anderson. Memorial services were held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred.
