James E. Robinette

James E. Robinette of Chisago City, died Sunday March 25 at Parmly LifePointes in Chisago City, at the age of 89. James was born April 5, 1922 in St. Paul to James V. and Anna Robinette. He served in the United States Army during WWII. On March 31, 1946 he married his wife Marcella in Rome. James was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Locals 87/322. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially deer hunting. James was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and eight sisters. He is survived by loving wife of 66 years Marcella, daughter Helen Robinette of Las Vegas; sons Mike (Kim) of White Bear Twp., Dennis of Duluth; six grandchildren Laura, Michelle, Gina, Brianna, James, Kaitlin, four great-grandchildren Christopher, Shawn, Katrina, Noah, brother Gerald and sister Annie. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday April 3 at St. Bridget of Sweden Church in Lindstrom. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
