Davidsson said he was also planning to see Mora MN, before his flight home May 4. He contacted Chisago Lakes High School Principal Dave Ertl through the Internet to arrange for his visit, after researching areas in the United States that might be of professional interest and offer some connection to Sweden. He felt right at ease in Chisago Lakes, mentioning that the region is much like Sweden in climate and natural features. Also, he joked that the names of students he met at the schools are not much different from his students’ names. Davidsson is one of four physical education instructors in his high school in Sweden. While he’s traveling his students can enroll in courses provided by the other teachers, and when he returns he will do the same for teachers who might also be on a break. His physical education and health classes in Sweden include activities like canoeing and rock climbing, which typically are provided in weekend sessions, he added.
