Jerome G. Doerr

Jerome G. Doerr, age 78 of Lindstrom, died on November 25, 2013. He was born in Minneapolis on October 26, 1935 to parents Newell and Lyyle “Lulu” Doerr. At 21 years started working at Standard Sidewalk as a laborer until he retired in his 60's as the owner; selling the company to his son Jon and son-in-law Jason Olson. Jerome and Shirley married when they were 17 and 16 in 1953 and were married 60 years. They had six children. Jerome and Shirley and all their children are baptized and confirmed into the family of God in the Lutheran Church. Goodbye Jerome and we will all see you in the Father's Paradise someday. Jerome is preceded in death by parents and son Steven. He is survived by wife Shirley; children Debra (Michael) Manders, Dennis (Karrie), Tamara (Joseph) Manthey, Jon (Christine), and Jennifer (Jason) Olson; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom. Arrangements by the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom. Condolences may be left online at www.grandstrandfh.com
