Rush Lake Resort and Campgrounds had a forced entry and theft of cash both from the register and from pulltabs drawer. Fishing reels were also taken from the business. The incident was reported Feb 12.

February 17 deputies and state patrol responded to a serious injury crash on I-35 about 2:10 a.m. The driver, identified by the state patrol as Robert Schaefer, 24 of Mounds View was airlifted from the scene. His 1996 Pontiac Grand Am was southbound, drifted, slid and ended up rolled onto its top in the northbound lanes with the driver ejected. His condition was not updated.
