Thomas J. Connolly

Thomas J. Connolly of Chisago City, died suddenly Friday, October 25 at his home, at the age of 57. Tom was born September 9, 1956 in St. Paul to Raphael and Marion Connolly. He graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1974. He attended Anoka Vo-Tech and became a machinist. He was a machinist at Pederson Tool in Anoka. On October 18, 1975 he married his wife Mary.

He was active in the Chisago City Fire Department and the Sportsman’s Club. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sports in general and his family, especially his granddaughters. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Raphael and Marion, father-in-law Morrie Olson and brother Dennis.

He is survived by his wife Mary, sons Dustin (Jeni) of Chisago City, Chad of Chisago City, Ricky (Gabby Miska) of Circle Pines; granddaughters Kaylee, Catherine, Addison; brothers Paul, David; sisters Corrine Bjelland, Joann Connolly; mother-in-law Betty Olson; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom. Interment was at South Green Lake Cemetery, in Chisago City.
