Law Enforcement

There were a few crashes on Hwy. 8 last week that appeared quite serious but law enforcement reports that minor injuries resulted. A crash Sept. 27 at the intersection with Sportman’s Drive was rpeorted about 11 a.m. Tueday Sept 24 another crash at 1:12 p.m. sent one driver to the hospital with facial cuts and the other vehicle driver refused medical transport. This incident was near the Shoquist intersection (Brink’s).

A crash Sept. 23 at Hwy 8 where East Viking merges with Wyoming Trail was reported about 7:15 p.m. And a crash at Elm St. and Hwy. 8 in downtown Lindstrom also resulted in minor injury. A house burglary reported Sept 24 at a residence in Chisago Lake Township on 335th.

Four firearms and tools and two computers were reportedly stolen. An oven fire Saturday, Sept 28 in Stacy was handled by Stacy-Lent firefighters. Incident was called in about noon.

A driver left behind part of his car grill and license plate after a hit and run collision at Big Game Bar & Grill, Sept. 28 in Shafer. Authorities are following up. The crash scene was discovered about 1:30 a.m.
