Thursday, October 17 there was a report of theft from a construction trailer at the motel worksite in Chisago City. No details except that hundreds of dollars’ worth of tools are missing.

Lakes Area Police assisted at a car fire being handled by local firefighters, near the intersection of Hwy 8 at Green Lake Trail (Itasca Ave) about 5 p.m. Friday October 18. Car was a loss.

Theft from a pole building in Chisago Lake Township North reported. Brass items and scrap metal are missing.

Theft from the storage units in Shafer on Hwy 8 also reported Oct 18. Tools and cash are missing.

A dog bite was reported to Lakes Area Police involving an incident in the Norway Avenue neighborhood in Lindstrom. Rabies shots are current for the dog.

October 19 sheriff’s deputies went to a report of a single vehicle off Cty Road 9 and rolled, and was in a ditch. Extrication ensued and the unidentified driver was transported. The crash scene was reported about 11 a.m.

Authorities made an arrest in connection with a theft of a truck from a Franconia Twsp. home, the incident was reported October 19. Another home nearby this was also the site of a theft of items from a vehicle, reported the day after the truck was taken.
