The Soaring Eagles 4-H club collected over 500 toys and stuffed animals for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Master Sergeant Crismon and Sergeant Hatfield visited the 4-Hers, parents, and grandparents at their December 4th meeting at the Scandia Community Center, and shared information about the Toys for Tots program and its impact on children who otherwise would not have received toys this Christmas.  

The Soaring Eagles' goal was to fill an entire vehicle with toys which they did. The Marines were very grateful for the generosity of the 4-Hers, their families, and the community.

(The Soaring Eagles 4-H club has members from Chisago, Washington, and Ramsey Counties in Minnesota; and Polk County in Wisconsin; and all the families homeschool their children.)
