A new judge took office January 9, filling a vacancy created when Judge McBride accepted re-assignment to Washington County. Judge Suzanne Bollman was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton and her investiture included remarks from fellow judges and colleagues. Judge Bollman comes most recently from the county attorney’s office in Sherburne County. Introducing Bollman to the ceremony audience-- Judge Mary Yunker said Chisago County is getting a skilled, hard working team player. Bollman and Robert Rancourt (pictured) and Judge Todd Schoffelman, are headquartered in Center City and there are 45 judges in total on the bench within the Tenth District; which covers Chisago, Washington, Isanti, Anoka, Kanabec, Pine, Sherburne and Wright counties.
