David Stignani passed away February 5, 2015. He was born in 1931 to Julius and Clarice Stignani in Madison, WI, becoming an Eagle Scout, and in college, a member of the National Honor Society, UW-Madison. He married his wife Judith in 1954, and served as a fighter pilot and instructor in the United States Air Force in the mid-1950s. He was then employed as an engineer for Honeywell for 38 years, and was involved in development of many systems for various military and civilian aircraft.

David set a strong, solid example as a parent and husband. Married for 59 years, the couple had four sons, Jon (Heidi), Mark (Elena), Neil (Brenda), and Dale; eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Judith. He is survived by his sons; sisters Dorothy (Karl (deceased)), Janet (Peter), and brother Robert (Gail), and their respective families.  

After retirement, David enjoyed living on the family farm where he and Judith had raised their family, farming, grandfathering and helping his family in many ways. He will be remembered fondly by his family. The family would like to thank the staff of Parmly Residence for their care of our father.
