The Chisago Lakes High School production of White Christmas was honored June 14 at the annual Hennepin Theater Trust Spotlight Showcase. Their production earned 14 awards Overall Outstanding Production and Overall Outstanding Performance honors meant the cast was invited to perform a 4.5 minute medley at the Showcase. They did a tap dance number to I Love a Piano and finished with Love Will Keep Us Warm. “Because of their community involvement of raising funds for the USO and honoring veterans, the production also earned a Community Engagement Award. This was an exciting way to celebrate the hard work the cast put in to bring our community this wonderful production,”said Gerry Seaburg, a musical production contractor.
