The Chisago Lakes-North Branch FIRST Robotics team will be competing in the 10,000 Lakes Regional at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 2-3-4, 2015.  Thursday the team will pass inspection and participate in practice rounds from 10:00-4:00.  Competition begins on Friday with Opening Ceremonies at 8:30 followed by qualifying matches from 9:00-5:00.  Saturday begins with qualifying matches from 9am-noon followed by the Championship Rounds running from 1:30-4pm.  

Team 3038 is looking forward to an exciting competition and hopes to build on their past success.  The past two years, the team advanced to the Championship Round and was eliminated in the semi-finals.  Team Leader Becky Leuer commented that "the kids built a very competitive robot this season and we are very excited to see how it performs in the arena."  Mentor Scott Frischmon encourages everyone to come and watch as "it is one of the few events around that is free of charge and allows spectators access to all of the robots."  The team is funded by St. Jude Medical Foundation and Parsons Electric.
