Jerry was born on June 2, 1939 in Stillwater, MN to parents Roy and Edith Farnham. He attended Stillwater High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. Jerry worked over 40 years as an electrician. He had a great love of animals. He would rescue and care for any creature big or small. He also loved working on anything mechanical. He was over talented at creative repairs.
He is preceded in death by parents Roy and Edith Farnham; brother Richard Farnham. Jerry is survived by wife of 18 years, Linda; children Terry Farnham of Stillwater, MN, James Farnham of Lancaster, CA, Julie (Todd) Theobald of Osceola, WI, Chad (Michelle) Farnham Elko, MN, Christine (Karl) Schreck of Shafer, MN; step-children Steve (Linda) Schwartz of Maple Grove, MN and Dana Hildebrant of Port Orchard, WA; grandchildren Chantal Wilson, Hannah Schreck and Emma Schreck; step-grandchildren Nathan Schwartz and Madeline Schwartz; great grandchild Savannah; sisters Anne Farnham of Stillwater, MN and Barbara Gavin of Marine-on-St. Croix, MN; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; also his cats Minnie and Chester.
Memorial Service 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with visitation from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family interment. Condolences may be left online at www.grand strandfh.com
