Alan junior would be airlifted and his dad would travel by ambulance for treatment. A few days later Alan junior, a Columbus Elementary student, died in the hospital.
For this one Saturday afternoon, though, people could be part of helping to bring healing to the Geisenkoetter family after their horrible tragedy. Organizers working with the family, said that Alan was such an outdoorsy guy, who loved fishing and that holding a fishing party for a fundraiser was the perfect thing to do.
The Chisago County Attorney has charged Coleman with felony criminal vehicular homicide, both under the influence and with Blood Alcohol Content .08 within two hours, and with four lesser counts of DUI resulting in Bodily Harm, for injuries suffered by Alan junior and his father.
Coleman, of rural Chisago City, was present for a bail hearing in Center City February 9. He would post $125,000 bail for conditional release. Coleman will be in court next for an omnibus hearing March 28. Coleman qualified for a public defender, appointed by Judge Bollman.
