This weekend, you will find an insert in the Search Shopper for the Home and Business Expo.  The tab will feature some great ideas for sprucing up your home this spring and summer.  In the tab you will also find a list of the great vendors who will be showcasing their businesses in this year's show.  You will find a map of the show to help you easily locate a certain business or entertainment event. Speaking of entertainment, this year's show will feature some great events for you to take part in.  There are two painting classes being offered. They will both take place on Saturday.

Steve Levey will host a canvas painting class that will run from 10 am to 1 pm and Pam Anderson will teach a class on 3D painting where you will use rocks, jewels and more to create art.  Her class runs 11 am to 2 pm. Pam will also teach the same class on Sunday beginning at noon.  Cost of any of the painting classes is just $5.

Magic Norm will be performing Saturday and Sunday Norm is a huge hit with the kids and is such a great entertainer.  See the tab for times of his shows.

The River City Cloggers will be performing Saturday at noon on the stage in the gym.  Their show starts at noon.  Every little girl's favorite character Belle will be on hand for photos and a meet and greet at 1 pm on Saturday as well as Sunday at 1.  Bring your cameras and if your daughter wants to dress up to meet Belle, well by all means let her dress up.  Batman will be on hand for the boys who love super heroes.  The caped crusader will be on hand Saturday at 2 pm and again on Sunday at 2.  Again your sons are encouraged to dress up to meet their hero.

All of this takes place next weekend at the Chisago Lakes High School and will run Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday 11 am to 3 pm.  I hope to see you there!

Maybe it is because I have a daughter that has been in gymnastics as long as I can remember, but my excitement this year for the team seemed much higher.  The girls had a great year and they just finished sections with one of the highest scores I have seen them place in sections.  To top it off, Aliah Williams and Elsa Leopold earned trips to the State gymnastics meet. Aliah had an amazing year and won the all around at sections, Elsa placed on uneven bars and earned her trip to state.  Keeley Ertl from North Branch once again earned a spot at state at the all around as well.  The three girls compete this Saturday at the pavillion at the U of M at 11 am.  Good luck girls!
