November 21
A Chisago City man has been apprehended on suspicion of being responsible for an arson house fire in Center City. Reported a little aftermidnight, responding fire authorities quickly concluded the house on Grand Avenue had been deliberately set ablaze by stuffing insulation into a chimney.  Information on charges Monday was pending due to an early deadline for the Press for Thanksgiving.

No injuries were reported.

A woman called to report she’d been “stuck” in a car wash in Chisago City, about 7 a.m. Lakes Area police were able to get the entry door lifted and she backed out of her predicament.

A suspect in a home on Matthew Drive, Chisago City, was brought in on a  suspected probation violation  and police awaited him just outside the house. He was taken into custody about 2 a.m. when he went out onto the deck.

An alleged assault of a male at Scooters in Chisago City is being investigated. Date and time were unspecified in the initial complaint report.

November 20
Firefighters arrived at a house on Neal Avenue in Lindstrom about 9:55 p.m. on a call of carbon monixide alarms. Confirmed false alarm.

November 17
Forced entry in several units at Almelund storage facility reported.

One sheep was killed presumably by dogs at-large in Sunrise Township. Owner of dogs being researched, animals are contained. Report came in about 9:30 p.m. from an address on 367th.

There were two stop arm violation citations written from bus routes in Chisago Lakes District.  Four tickets were issued by Lakes Area Police for students possessing vaping devices at high school and middle school properties.
