August 6 

Lakes Area Police were sent to a CO2 alarm but no hazard was detected. Incident was on Wallmark Lake Drive about 6:39 p.m.

Deputies arrested a man on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence,  driving an ATV on 517th in Rushseba Township about 4 p.m.  Two youths were riding on the ATV without helmets. 

August 3

A storage shed in a Lindstrom park was damaged and entered, but no missing items could be determined. Reported about 11:30 a.m. Window and door were broken.

Shoplifting suspect cited for theft at a Lindstrom store.

Fiesta Cancun restaurant in Rush City burglarized, reported about 5 a.m. A pull tab storage area was disturbed.  Entry through a broken window.

August 2

A dwelling on Marine Court in Lindstrom was surrounded by law enforcement presence about 6:30 a.m. There had been a report of a shooter threat. A rifle was confiscated with a search warrant and one person arrested.

An ATV youth training was held at the Harris pit with county personnel and DNR instructing and testing. Everybody got certificates.

July 31

Report of a suspicious vehicle in downtown Shafer about 7:30 p.m. Car was located and one male was arrested on an active warrant and reported to be in possession of meth and cocaine.
