August 27 

Xcel energy employees sent to smell of natural gas in Hillcrest Drive area, about 8:30 p.m. Believed to be coming from under the street, Xcel will address.

August 26

Vehicle observed veering off the road and coming to a stop near South Avenue and Hwy. 8, around 11 a.m. Female driver transported by air for medical condition, child in vehicle okay.

State Bank of Marine in Lindstrom sustained some damage early in morning, when vehicle struck it.  Driver called in later that day to report the incident. County Attorney is reviewing for possible charges.

August 25 

Burnt food triggered a fire alarm at apartment on Fairway Lane, Chisago City, about 5:30 p.m.  No fire, Chisago City Fire Dept. cleared scene.

August 23 

One car was rear-ended by another in the westbound lane of Hwy. 8 at 302nd St. (library). Accident reported about 3:30 p.m. Driver, 20, cited for crash. No injury reported, one car had to be towed.
