Chisago Lakes School District is pleased to announce that Cory Becker has been named the new Director of Human Resources at Chisago Lakes School District. Mr. Becker’s first official day at Chisago Lakes School District will be March 13, 2023.

Mr. Becker brings 3 years of human resources experience in healthcare and the manufacturing industries. Most recently, he was the Human Resource Generalist at Phillips-Medisize in New Richmond, WI. Mr. Becker is calm, listens well, shows empathy, and has an approachable personality.

When asked about his new position, Mr. Becker stated, “ I am excited to join Chisago lakes and hold a position that directly impacts our community in so many ways.  Being able to join a team that is focused on providing outstanding education to the students and partnering with the community to make Chisago lakes a destination for current residents and future residents made it a very easy decision to join Chisago lakes team.”

Dean Jennissen, Superintendent, commented, “When interviews were completed, it was clear to the interview team that Cory was our candidate. Positives we saw and heard: strong communicator, listens well, good sense of humor, a team-player, open to input, understands the role, experienced, doesn’t pass judgment and seeks to provide calm in the chaos. He is going to be a strong addition to our team!”
