Math Masters holds a number of competitions at sites across the metro area and into western Wisconsin. Lakeside Elementary School sent six teams and Taylors Falls sent two teams to the competition at St. Croix Central Middle School. The Chisago Lakes teams had a lot of success at the competition with Lakeside teams coming in 1st and 2nd place, and Taylors Falls coming in 4th out of 17 teams. The Wildcats also had success in the individual rounds with Riley Stoppleman from Lakeside capturing 1st place in the basic facts round and Max Aadland from Taylors Falls taking 1st place in the individual problem solving round. The Lakeside teams are coached by Mr. Maahs and the Taylors Falls teams are coached by Mrs. Spray.
