Wildcat lax team still undefeated
Chisago Lakes 23, Duluth Marshall 1
Chisago Lakes’ season hit a high note offensively on Wednesday, May 3 at home when the Wildcats absolutely crushed the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers 23-1 in a lopsided affair.
Many Wildcats got in on the scoring as reserves were streaming in during the second half, and it allowed CL to work on some of their plays and set spots for future match ups.
Chisago Lakes 11, Brainerd 5
The game was a little closer when the ‘Cats traveled west to Brainerd on Friday, May 5 to take on the Warriors.
Skylar Wells scored a hat trick and added an assist while Kamryn Peterson and Naomi Eaton each scored two goals to lead the charge for the ‘Cats on offense.
Evi Reedy, Kaianna Senne, Lauren Schmidt and Camryn Hinsch scored the other goals for Chisago Lakes.
The defense played a very tight and disciplined game, as well, and Laura Calrson had some big saves in net to push the ‘Cats to 6-0 on the year.
They hosted Spring Lake Park earlier this week and play host to the 1-7 Anoka Tornadoes on Friday, May 12 before going on the road for games against Sartell and Mounds View next week.
