A couple of injury incidents were reported during the triathlon event last weekend. Bike riders crashed on Lofton Avenue and on Wild Mountain Road— resulting in at least two athletes being transported, with Lakes Area Police and sheriff patrol involved at scenes.

July 28 Sunday storm activity left a tree down across the roadway at 288th and Lakeside in Lindstrom and flooding making Broadway and Sylvan Avenues impassable briefly.

July 27 a boat came off its trailer reportedly hitting mailboxes on Neal in Lindstrom. Incident reported about 6:20 p.m.

July 25 a garage fire in Chisago City on Berglund Avenue was put out with no injury and is attributed to careless smoking.  Call came in about 9 p.m.

A report of theft from the hardware store in Lindstrom resulted in an arrest of a 61 year old female a short time later. A misdemeanor warrant was previously attached to her as well.
