Laura A. Feaski, age 72, of North Branch, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Laura was born on March 18, 1952, in Rush City, Minnesota, to Gordon and June (Fulks) Feaski. She graduated from North Branch High School, where her exceptional artistic talent was widely admired, with her artwork displayed throughout the school. In the 1970s, she moved to Oakland, California, where she enjoyed the warm weather, stunning seaside evenings, and the company of good friends. After returning to Minnesota, Laura worked for John Roberts Printing Company, where she further developed her creative skills and had the opportunity to work on high-profile projects involving famous personalities.
Later in her career, she found fulfillment working closer to home at Wyoming Machine, where she formed lasting friendships with the owners and staff. Laura retired in order to take care of her parents which she did selflessly for over 10 years, until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
A true free spirit, Laura had a passion for fast cars, good music, and cherished time with family and friends. Her infectious smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laura is preceded in death by her mother, June Feaski; grandparents Felix and Agnes Feaski, Clyde and Agnes Fulks; and uncles Lester Feaski, Charles Fulks, and Gary Johnson. She is survived by her father, Gordon Feaski; her brother Thomas (Peggy) Feaski; aunts Elaine (Calvin) Bozeman, Carol Johnson, and JoAnn Fulks; uncle Clyde (Leone) Fulks; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, and many special friends.
