A 91-year-old man sustained fatal injuries February 23, when the golf cart he was operating in the area of Lyons Street and 311th, west of the freeway in Stacy, crashed into a Ford F350.  A spokesperson for the sheriff said the investigation is continuing and relatives are being notified.  At this time it appears to not have been caused by any illegal activity or behavior and was a tragic accident. The Press will release names later.

The pickup was driven by a 55-year-old male who lived in the same neighborhood as the victim, both of their addresses are not far from the crash scene.   

Authorities were called at 2:09 p.m. Stacy First Responders were sent, along with air care and Anoka County was also alerted. The victim died before he could be airlifted.
