Thanks to all who have sent in your Chisago County Press early renewals from the top of page two.  For those of you who have not, there is one final week to take advantage of the early renewal special by clipping the coupon and sending your payment to us.  Next week those who have not subscribed as of yet will receive the blue renewal card in the mail with instructions on how to renew.  We try to make it as easy as possible for all to renew here.  In fact, we have a qr code scattered throughout the paper where you can scan it with your phone camera and it will link you to the subscription link.  

Thanks so much for keeping this little paper in business for over 126 years.  

If you have not gotten your Chisago Lakes Lions Cadillac Dinner tickets yet, I would encourage you to do so soon.  The event is on May 2 and coincides with the Kentucky Derby.  

Held at the Uncommon Loon, the event  doors open at 4:30pm with the running of the roses broadcast live around 5:30pm.  The dinner and festivities will begin at 6pm.   You can call 612-501-1504 to buy yours and support the Lions.

Chisago City Fire Department invites you to their annual free pancake breakfast.  The yearly meal takes place May 3 at the fire hall located at 29492 Karmel Avenue.  Come on out and let these awesome firefighters cook some great pancakes with all the fixings. I have been to the meal before and it is a great atmosphere.  See you there.

The kids that make up the Chisago Lakes DECA (business) Club invite the public to come and take part in their Trivia Night.  The games will be held at the Wildcat Community Center on April 24 and May 15.  Both evenings the games will begin at 6pm.  Cost to participate is $5 and there will be prizes given out to the winners.  

The events help raise funds for the clubs.
