The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting a single vehicle crash on I-35 near where Viking Boulevard crosses over the freeway April 28, resulted in a fatality of the passenger.  The driver was injured.  Wyoming police and fire assisted the state patrol at the scene.

The victim is identified as 65 year old Gayle Alice Churles, of Pine City.  The driver, 71, also was from Pine City.

Cause is not known yet, and preliminary details are that the 1998 Dakota truck reportedly veered into the west side dicth of the freeway while it was southbound about 9:40 a.m.
