Willey receives lifesaving award at annual CCSO banquet
On December 23, 2025 Levi Willey was visiting his grandmother for Christmas break. During his visit his grandmother became dizzy and passed out with only the two of them at home. Levi who was seven at the time saw his grandmother needed help and called 911. Instead of being chaotic, Levi remained calm explaining and answering any questions the dispatch had. Levi had no idea what the address was nor did he know his grandmother’s phone number. Levi stayed calm by his grandmother’s side waiting for help to arrive. While the paramedics worked on his grandmother, Levi remained calm and answered all the questions asked. Levi’s grandmother has since received a pacemaker and is doing great thanks to his bravery.
