Chisago County 9-1-1 dispatchers took a number of reports Sunday, May 3 of items being thrown off the 530th  Street bridge, Rush City, onto the I-35 freeway.  The hazards involved ranged from rocks to containers of oil. If you know anything that will help this investigation, contact 651-257-4100 the non-emergency communications center phone number and let them know you have information.

Also May 3 a Flock license plate reader camera alerted on a plate and the 41 year old male driver was located and arrested by Lakes Area officers soon after.

May 2 there was a motorcycle that crashed into a guardrail at 243 (not definite if bridge or not) in Franconia/Osceola at 2:33p.m.  One person transported, traffic was detoured for a time.

An outdoor fire was called in when it took off near the shore of North Lindstrom Lake, about 9 p.m. Property owner extinguished.  Outdoor burn activities are not encouraged right now due to dry conditions.

A vehicle went through the stop sign at 520th and Elmcrest in Nessel Township and into dictch. Private tow arranged, no injury.

State patrol is writing the crash at Mulberry and Highway 95, approximately 1 p.m. May 1. St Croix Falls and Taylors Falls firefighters were dispatched..

April 29

Stand of cattails caught fire from nearby hot lawnmower, at Norway and Newlander in Lindstrom. No structures involved.

Also a downed powerline was reported on Chisago Blvd about 2:15 a.m. A utility pole had been hit by unknown vehicle.

April 28

Suspected DUI rollover incident in Shafer Township, mid-day, on 310th near Tern Ave. Driver was alone. Charges are pending.
