An R.V. fire reported at an address on Keystone and Sunrise Road about 10 p.m. There was no injury reported, cause not reported, vehicle was towed by authorities.

A Rush City area Flock license plate reader hit resulted in a motorcycle driver arrested for DUI and for having a revoked license.

May 7

A traffic stop ended with an arrest for DUI.  Event started in North Branch about 11:50 p.m. as a reported “suspicious vehicle.”

May 6

Report to Lakes Area police  of several feral cats and chickens kept at a residence off North Lakes Trail area have been killed.

Three vaping citations issued to high school students. 

City of Lindstrom opened a code complaint case attached to a property on Maria Avenue based on issues with contractor starting work early and going later than allowed, and grading of the site.  Also a complaint case was opened for a property at 12601 Lake Blvd for work being done in shore land area with no permit.

May 5

Lakes Area Police was notified of a welfare check needed and house was checked with nobody found. Soon after, at 9:40 a.m. a neighbor reported a body located in a wooded area.  Foul play is not suspected.

High speed pursuit on I-35 involved county cars about 1 a.m. and suspect fled at Harris . Arrest made for DUI.

May 4

The Chisago Lakes high school greenhouse locked cashbox was taken over the weekend. Video security footage is being reviewed.  The greenhouse sales are meant to sustain the horticulture-related education programs and operate the greenhouse.

A chair fell from a vehicle causing damage to another car and the offender kept driving.  State Patrol is investigating as the incident occurred on Highway 8. reported at 10:20 a.m.

Cattle reported loose on Wyoming Trail about 5 a.m.  Wyoming, Lakes Area officers responded and owner was notified and involved in getting the animals back into enclosure.
