The Chisago Lakes tandem of Caleb Brink (above, right) and Nolan Levasseur (left) have advance to the semifinals of the Section 7AA tourney and have a shot at the state tournament. The pair was seeded third and got a bye in the first round before beating a pari from Anoka 6-3, 6-3 and then getting past a Blaine twosome 6-3, 6-2. They’ll take on Forest Lake’s Soren Williams and Jonah Kauls, the second seed, in the semis at Anoka on Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m.

The other CL competitors fell in the first or second round. Nick Hansen and Nik Young fell 6-2, 6-3 in the first round of doubles. In singles, both Aymes Tharaldson and Henry Kern won matches in the first round before falling to seeded opponents in the second round.
