Thanks to the great ladies and gentlemen who worked so hard to make this year’s Kid’s Outerwear Fair again this year.  These folks collect warm clothing all year long to be dispersed out to  our friends and families here in Chisago Lakes at no cost.  They really don’t know the impact they are having on these families who may be down on their luck currently.  Between the outerwear fair and the free community meals just to name a few, this community never ever ceases to amaze me with its generosity.

On Friday evening at the Wildcat Community Center, you are invited to bring the kids for the annual Halloween Boogie Dance.  The dance runs from 6-8pm while all ages are welcome, the games and activities are geared towards ages 10 and under.  There will be a DJ, dancing, games, treats, pumpkin bowling and face painting.  The cost is just $45 per family. There will be food for purchase as well.

Saturday the Chisago County Community (senior ) Center will hold the annual Arts & Crafts Fair.  Located at North Branch (38790 6th Ave) the fair runs from 9am-3pm and will be filled with tons of handmade items, artists and other vendors.

Also, Saturday before you head out for the day, go over to the Chisago Lake Township Hall for the Lions annual waffle breakfast.  

You will enjoy awesome waffles with all the toppings and sides,  AND help one of my favorite non-profit community groups raise money for their great projects throughout the year.  The  serving runs from 8-11:30am and the hall is located at 12400 316th Street north of downtown Lindstrom.  See you there!
