March 28 “loud explosions” were called into local police and to the sheriff dispatch.  The noises were heard south of Lindstrom, most calls were in morning. Place where sound originated was not pinpointed.

February 16There was a report of a snowmobile crashed on Green Lake, called in about 5:30 p.m. Deputies and medical teams responded, with a squad car transporting the hurt party to the North Memorial ambulance on shore, and then the victim was taken to Fairview Medical Center.

February 9, report a few minutes after midnight of a female run-over by a vehicle at JJ’s in North Branch. Victim was transported to a hospital.  Suspect identified, a 49-year-old male was arrested by North Branch officers and booked for second degree assault and criminal vehicular operation.

Still finding alot of vehicles parking on city streets in violation of overnight parking rules...the police departments are issuing warnings and tickets depending on the circumstances but readers are reminded that until April, overnight street parking is prohibited in most area cities.  This is to keep routes clear for snowplowing.
